Manage Calendar Events

Utilize your organization's Calendar view to efficiently manage all scheduled events, including on-call assignments and time-off requests. This centralized tool helps streamline event organization and ensures all team members stay informed and up-to-date.

In IT-Conductor, you will find two calendar modes:

  • Personal Calendar - helps you track your individual activities

  • Tenant Calendar - provides a comprehensive overview of all scheduled activities across the organization. The tenant calendar allows teams to monitor events such as on-call schedules and employee time-off requests.

Time-Off Requests

The time-off request feature in IT-Conductor allows employees to easily submit requests for vacation or personal time off through the platform. Once a request is submitted, it is automatically routed to the appropriate supervisor or manager for approval. The system tracks the status of each request, notifying the employee once it has been approved or denied.

Create Time-Off Request in IT-Conductor

  1. Navigate to Management → Automation → Calendar → Request Time-Off.

  1. Fill out all the necessary information in the Time Off Request wizard. Once completed, click + to submit the request.

  • Reason - refers to why the user requests the time off. You may select one from the drop-down menu.

  • Details - refers to any extra description regarding the request.

  • All Day - indicates that the time-off request is for a full workday if checked. Otherwise, leave it unmarked.

  • Start Date - refers to the date that the request starts.

  • End Date - refers to the date that the request ends.

  2. Once a request has been approved/refused, you will get a notification and if it was approved you can find the corresponding event on your personal calendar.

Approve Time-Off Requests

  1. Add your comments if desired, and click Approve or Decline.

Note: The approval algorithm out of the box is SOME (at least one approver responded). It is possible to change the algorithm to ALL (all approvers are required to approve /refuse before concluding). Also configurable is the role to use for Approvers. All of these configurations are done at the Tenant level.
