Service Health Monitoring gives all the information about a system's overall health. The IT-Conductor Service Health Monitoring is capable of simultaneously displaying the view of all the metrics and statuses of monitored services, applications, alerts, etc. that you want to inspect and analyze. This is an excellent way to visually correlate relationships between application components, performance, and availability of the service.
In the IT-Conductor main menu, navigate to the Service Grid. Drill down to the particular system that you want to check. Then click on the Health container to show the health history of the environment.
All the components associated and discovered with the system will be automatically displayed.
Check the box to show the monitored performance metric or event chart.
Service Health is one of the versatile features of the IT-Conductor platform in terms of troubleshooting and reporting. In the event that there are components in a warning or in high severity state, clicking on any data point or bar in the chart will provide a view of the exact cause of the problem and the time it occurred.
After choosing all the monitoring components that you want to focus on, you have the option to save and use this as a saved view KPI
1. Clicking on the "Save" icon will allow you to create a specific view of your chosen metrics/events.
2. Fill in the required details and click on the "+" icon.
3. A pop-up message will confirm that the saved view has been created. Click OK to proceed.
4. The saved KPI can be found back in the main grid. Click on the saved KPI to give you access to all the relevant charts that you're interested in the system.
5. In case you want to add another component, click on the "Edit" icon and choose the specific metric(s) before saving. A pop-up message will confirm that the KPI has been updated.
